Designed for children between the ages of 3-5 years, our Mini & Me Program focuses on following simple directions, gross motor, fine motor, spatial and ordering skills as well as the basics of mini horse and donkey ground-handling in a safe, FUN, nurturing environment. This is the perfect opportunity for little ones to become comfortable around farm animals, and it helps boost their confidence and understanding of horses, which then paves the way when they are ready to take the leap into riding lessons.  

Spending time with miniature horses and donkeys can be an excellent activity for young children.  It teaches empathy, kindness, and treating others with a gentle hand. Animals can sense the feelings of those around them. A shy child may feel a little braver in the presence of the animal they groom and interact with. Children not only learn to face their fears but also learn patience and understanding when interacting with a living creature. 

In our hectic and overstimulated world, we could all use an activity that slows us down and allows us to take in the scenery. Giving our children the opportunity to connect with something outside themselves is so rewarding, and what better way to do this than spending time with our horses and miniature donkeys!
